As 2019 has ended, we are very happy to share our powerful year with you.
2019 was full of new opportunities and exciting events for Integration Designers, so let’s take you on our recap trip:
Great place to work certified
Thanks to our amazing employees, we were certified as a Great Place to Work for the second year in a row. An achievement we are very proud of!

Start of our adventure in the Netherlands
In April, we officially launched our activities in the Netherlands. With a strong focus on integration using the IBM API Connect technology, it’s our goal to deliver high-end integration solutions for our northern neighbors.
A bunch of happy clients
We were happy to welcome lots of new clients and to strengthen existing partnerships. Thanks to our cluster company I8C, we were able to expand our services and start collaborations with other Cronos/ I8C companies like Archers (integration architecture experts) and managed service specialists like FlowFactor.
We continued to expand our market and took the first steps for expansion in Luxembourg where we organised a successful round table event to discuss the future of integration with a couple of important IBM customers.
Last but not least, we were able to build a promising sales pipeline for 2020. Most of our contracts continue in 2020 or will be expanded.
We are looking forward to keeping on tackling integration challenges with our clients!
Trainings
We continued to invest in the knowledge and skills of our team - both hard technical skills as soft skills - by attending a great number of IBM events and soft skills trainings:
Technical skills:
- IBM API Connect en IBM ACE, our primairy focus
- Participation IBM Think
- Participation IBM App Connect Early Experience Program
- Participation Cloud Pak For Integration workshop
- Participation IBM Business Partner Advisory Council
- Hackathon about cloud integration
- Lots of self-study around IBM integration and containers (docker, K8S)
Soft Skills
- Feedback trainings for the team
- Individual coaching of employees by professional coaches
- We looked at the values and skills that are important to us to properly perform our job as an integration consultant.
Kick-start of our Red Hat activities
As Red Hat and IBM joined forces, we will start to focus on Red Hat integration solutions as well.
Investments on internal projects
We also made some substantial investments in two important internal projects. For API Connect we developed a demo environment which was already used in different RFPs. Second, we strongly invested in IBM ACE, with an emphasis on containerization of the solutions in a public cloud environment.
Collaboration with IBM
In 2019 we continued investing in a durable relationship with IBM by working together on various customer cases and important software deals.
